Letter poem to self. Written by #Anntitude

Looking into the mirror. Hey self, look at you, look at  how matured you are. You have become a grown adult.

You are no longer that baby who was always waiting to be spoon fed. No matter how blooming a flower is, one day it’s gonna wither.

We grow young to grow old but at the end of the day, what matters is not how old we have grown but what value we have added to our growth. We must grow in strength, courage, vigor and wear our virtue, self-esteem and power to accept this grace that has been given to us, In order to run this race with dignity, admiration and potency.

Let our growth become our creed as we pay heed to ourselves. Let our growth be our fame as we aim something greater. Let our growth become our name and serve as reference whenever we are called upon. Let our growth enable us to think and act rationally as we prospect the future.

Dear self, you must not be self-righteous, self-fish, self-deceive or selfless. However, you must be alert and awaken to confront the struggles of life. Until then, you can become self-aware, self-contained, self-aggrandizing and self-content as you grow to your resting age. #Anntitude
